AN INTRODUCTION TO NOOTROPIC STACKS FOR STUDENTS

It’s late. You’re tired. You’ve been going strong all day and the last thing you feel like doing now is hitting the books, finishing up that report, or getting started on that research paper. Or maybe you’re preparing for a really important exam; you really need to ace this one and you’re putting everything you have into it, but you just can’t seem to concentrate. Is there a solution? You bet there is, and it’s not giving yourself a massive case of the jitters with gallons of black coffee or a fistful of Adderall.
nootropic stacks

Whenever you really need to think and feel your best, Nootropic stacks can give you the cognitive edge you’re looking for.

What are Nootropics?

Nootropics, also known as cognitive enhancers, are supplements that improve various aspects of mental function, including memory, motivation, focus, learning ability, and concentration. Simply put, nootropics make you think better by making your brain work better; they boost the production of the brain chemicals that enhance cognitive abilities, increase the amount of oxygen and nutrients that the brain absorbs, and improve the way brain signals are transmitted.

Are Nootropics Safe?

Modern nootropics are safe, well-tolerated, and have extremely low toxicity. They’ve been proven to improve brain function without the negative side effects of amphetamines or other brain stimulants, and they can even contribute to overall brain health; many are powerful antioxidants that help flush out toxins and protect brain cells. Nootropics are even being studied as potential treatments for a variety of brain and memory problems.

How do Nootropics Work?

The primary action of most nootropics is increasing the production and availability of crucial neurotransmitters like acetylcholine and glutamate, the brain chemicals that are most important to cognitive function. Some nootropics also act as vasodilators, improving overall brain performance by increasing oxygenation, blood flow and nutrient absorption.

And that’s not all. Though every nootropic improves brain function and cognitive ability, different supplements do it in different ways. Some nootropics are proven energy boosters, making them an excellent choice at the start of a busy day or before a workout. Others increase feelings of relaxation and calm, easing tension and social anxiety. Still others can help build lean muscle and speed recovery after exertion, so they’re perfect for athletes or active people who just want to feel their best.

Nootropics work very well taken alone, but they’re at their best and most powerful when they’re “stacked” or taken in combination. The unique composition of these compounds makes them perfect potentiators, with each enhancing the effects of the others in a well-constructed stack.

The Ideal “Starter Stack” for Students: Caffeine + L-Theanine

One of the best basic starter stacks is caffeine and l-theanine, a natural combo found in green tea. L-Theanine, an amino acid known to increase energy and reduce stress, works synergistically with caffeine to deliver a feeling that many describe as calm alertness.

The caffeine/l-theanine stack can be a big help to students who need to get focused for studying. It provides plenty of energy but the l-theanine component works to eliminate the restless, jittery feeling that caffeine alone can create. Most users report that this stack gives them enhanced mental clarity, heightened awareness, and better concentration, along with a relaxed and optimistic outlook.

The perfect addition to all stacks is a good all-purpose nootropic combo like Naturamin Brain Booster, which provides a variety of natural nootropics including gingko biloba, ginseng, bacopa monnieri, choline bitartrate, gotu kola, and l-tyrosine.

Something a Little More Advanced: Racetam + Choline

Racetams are among the most popular and widely-used family of nootropics, and with good reason: they’ve been extensively studied since the first racetam was discovered more than 50 years ago, and they’ve been proven to be safe, extremely well-tolerated, and exceptionally effective as brain enhancers.

The basic action of most racetam class nootropics is increasing the production and availability of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which is crucial to learning, memory, and concentration. They do this by stimulating specific receptor sites in the brain, which stimulates the body to produce more acetylcholine.

This is where choline comes in: choline is an essential building block for acetylcholine, and it must be present in sufficient amounts in order for the racetams to work. Every racetam stack should include a good source of choline such as Alpha GPC, CDP Choline, or centrophenoxine. This will not only increase the potency of the racetam, it will eliminate the minor but annoying headache that can result when the brain’s choline stores are depleted. It’s also a good idea to add a good combo nootropic like Naturamin Brain Booster to every stack.

There are a number of racetam class nootropics, each of which has its own unique composition and cognitive enhancement capabilities. Here are some good starting points for racetam + choline stacks:

Pramiracetam + Choline: Excellent for expanded learning capacity, better memory, increased focus, and social fluency. Basic stack – Pramiracetam 200 mg, choline 100 mg, taken together 2-3 times daily.

Oxiracetam + Choline: Great stack for improving learning, memory, and overall cognitive ability while providing a substantial energy boost. Basic stack: Oxiracetam 800 mg, choline 250 mg taken twice daily (note: if taken late in the day this stack could potentially interrupt sleep patterns).

Aniracetam + Choline: Outstanding stack for improving memory and focus while providing a feeling of calm and relaxation. Basic stack: aniracetam 750 mg, choline 300 mg taken once or twice daily.

Once you are comfortable with the basics of stacking nootropics and want to get more creative you can try this powerful nootropic stack which is a well-designed stack for experienced nootropic users.

Exam Time: Noopept

Anyone facing exams could use a memory booster, and there’s none better than noopept. A popular nootropic best known for its powerful positive effect on memory and recall, noopept is also known to reduce anxiety and increase attention span. It’s fast acting, reaching maximum effect in 20 minutes or less, and is a solid choice for anyone who needs to recall learned information quickly and reliably.

A good noopept starter stack is 10 mg of noopept and 300 mg of choline, taken up to three times daily.

Nootropics – A Smart Choice for Smart People

Nootropics aren’t magical; they won’t automatically give you a photographic memory or raise your IQ, but they will make your brain function better and more efficiently. They’re a smart choice for anyone who wants to learn more, remember better, recall faster, and have energy to spare.

  1. This was a very good article to read. Now my question is would this stack be to strong to take every day twice. One in the morning, and afternoon?

    Alpha GPC 300mg
    Noopept 10mg
    Pramiracetam 250mg
    Aniracetam 800mg.

The purpose of this stack is for work and studying for exam during breaks at work or when I have free time at work.

Please let me know if I should stop the stack or change the dosage or ever take one or add other nootropic to the stack.

    Thanks,
